BUY TICKETS > MEXICO MATCH PLAY PRESENTED BY NATIONAL: THE BRACKET IS SET! The Road to Cabo continues as the 16-player bracket is officially set for the 2023 Mexico Match Play presented by National. Following two preliminary stroke play qualifying events at Club de Golf Los Encinos and Club Campestre Monterrey, 14 Mexican players earned their spot in the bracket. Two additional players received invitations to the Mexico Match Play presented by National thanks to their position in the Official World Golf Ranking. Among the players in the field for the two-day match play event are Jose de Jesus Rodriguez, Alvaro Ortiz, Isidro Benitez, Sebastian Vazquez, Oscar Fraustro and Rodolfo Cazaubon. The Match Play event will take place at the Diamante Dunes Course on September 27 and 28 with the winner earning an exemption into the 2023 World Wide Technology Championship. LEARN MORE > THE FIRST TEE OF DIAMANTE RECEIVES PGA TOUR CHARITY CHALLENGE AWARD The World Wide Technology Championship is proud to announce that the Diamante First Tee is the recipient of a $15,000 award. The nonprofit organization will receive the funds following the WWT Championship's eighth-place finish in the 2023 PGA TOUR Charity Challenge, a fantasy-style competition benefiting local charities. During the 2022-23 PGA TOUR season, as part of the PGA TOUR Charity Challenge, host organizations across the PGA TOUR, Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR Champions had the opportunity to select a local charitable beneficiary with specific programs and services that address diversity, equity and inclusion in underserved or underrepresented communities. Every week, the amount of FedExCup points each tournament's eight-player fantasy-style roster earned was totaled, and the team with the highest total each week won a $5,000 contribution to its charitable beneficiary. Each team's FedExCup points were counted throughout the 2022-23 PGA TOUR season, and the team with the highest accumulation of points after the BMW Championship was crowned the season-long winner, earning the top prize of $100,000 for its charitable partner. In addition to its eight-place finish on the season long standings, the WWT Championship took home first place in week 31 of the season to earn $5000 for the Diamante First Tee, meaning a total of $20,000 for the boys and girls of Los Cabos. VIKTOR HOVLAND WINS THE FEDEXCUP Congratulations to 2021 and 2022 World Wide Technology Championship winner Viktor Hovland on claiming the FedExCup!  The 25-year-old Norwegian won three times in 2023 on his way to capturing the season-long FedExCup title and cementing his place as the top golfer on the PGA TOUR for the 2022-2023 season.
