  • Becomes the first winner to play the final three holes (in regulation) in 4-under or better since Rickie Fowler at the 2015 PLAYERS Championship (eagle, birdie, birdie, then won in playoff)
  • With a final-round 63, becomes the seventh winner on TOUR this season with a final-round score of 63 or better and second consecutive (Collin Morikawa/63, ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP)
  • Becomes the first player to win a PGA TOUR event at a golf course designed by TGR Design, led by 82-time TOUR winner Tiger Woods
  • Is responsible for the last two wins on the PGA TOUR by a player from South Africa (2021 Barracuda Championship, 2023 World Wide Technology Championship)
  • Becomes third player from outside the United States to win the World Wide Technology Championship, joining Graeme McDowell (2015) and Viktor Hovland (2020, 2021)

MATT KUCHAR
  • 2018 World Wide Technology Championship earns 15th runner-up finish on TOUR in his 535th career start
