        Ambassador Committees

We have a total of 16 different committees divided into three main areas. All ambassadors must attend general training sessions and work a minimum of 3 days.
        Walking Scorer

        Competition Support

        Pro-Am

This committee will support on all aspects of the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Pro-Ams. Responsibilities may include assembling/distribution of participant gifts, registering amateurs and assisting with Pro-Am contests during the day, as needed. Experience with excellent customer service is preferred and excellent attitude is a must. This committee will work from Monday to Wednesday and will be required help prior to the event.

        Walking Scorers

Walking Scorers are a critical volunteer position that requires mental and physical energy, attention to detail and a good understanding of the game of golf. The walking scorers accompany a group of up to three (3) players and keep their scores and specific statistics on a mobile device providing real time data.

        Standard Bearers

Volunteers in this role go along with the walking scorer inside the ropes and their primary responsibility is to show the gallery which players are in the group and what their scores are by carrying a standard sign with the information. Volunteers must have the ability to walk 18 holes while carrying a 2-3 Kgs (5 lb.) sign.

        Starters

Starters have the major responsibility of announcing each player as they tee off for each round as well as when they approach the 18th green on the weekends. Starters must have a great voice and pronunciation in English and Spanish. Starters will also support with the Honorary Observers program. Anyone interested in this committee must be prepared to send an audition tape showing their voice and announcing skills.
        Marshal

        Operations Support

        Hole Marshals

Hole marshal volunteers are the largest committee and support the tournament with two key functions. The first one is as spotters, on the tee box and in the fairway helping players locate errant shots. The second is as gallery managers for noise, and traffic points for players and spectators, ensuring their safety and maintaining a good pace of play.

        Mobile Marshals

Mobile Marshals are responsible for reinforcing gallery management by walking along with them and making sure crowds move smoothly especially with featured groups. Mobile Marshals may only be needed on the weekend, so keep in mind if you sign up for this committee you might be assigned as a Hole Marshal for Thursday and Friday.

        Caddie Services

Caddie Services ambassadors help with caddie registration and maintain an organized caddie area, prepare caddie bibs for each round, provide clean towels, tees, and pencils. Caddie Service ambassadors are always prepared to help and support the professional caddies in any way throughout the tournament.

        Ecology

The Ecology committee will work alongside tournament personnel and the committee’s main responsibility is picking up and replacing the trash bags once they are full throughout the course. They do rounds on all the holes and practice facilities.

        Distribution

The Distribution committee will work alongside tournament personnel to help with the distribution of ice and drinks throughout the course, ensuring all the areas are fully equipped with drinks and ice for players, caddies and officials.

        Golf Carts

The golf cart committee helps in preparing everything related to our golf carts, so they are ready to use during the day! As well as making sure they are returned, properly charged, and in good condition for the next day.
        Shuttle Driver

        Logistics

        Shuttle Drivers and EVAC

The Shuttle Driver and EVAC Committee have two main responsibilities. The first is to support tournament personnel stage golf carts around the course for a possible evacuation. The second one is to drive sponsors and their guests from their on-site headquarters to the Clubhouse and back as instructed.

        Parking

The Parking Committee supports the operations of different parking lots, for Ambassadors, spectators and other guests on and off the tournament grounds. They must ensure that cars are parked properly and that the space is used appropriately while welcoming guests to the tournament. You are the first person they will see!

        Volunteer Services

The Volunteer Services Committee will register each ambassador, provide them with instructions and meal vouchers, and be ready to assist the different needs Ambassadors might have. They also help with distribution of water and box lunches throughout the course.

        Hospitality

The Hospitality committee will support tournament staff and security staff at the tournament’s main hospitality areas and main gate.  Responsibilities include welcoming guests, scanning tickets, placing access wristbands on spectators, answering questions, and serving as general support.

        Fan Services

Volunteers will be stationed at the Fan Village and main entrance of the golf course to greet patrons, provide directions or information regarding the event, and be a friendly and welcoming first point of contact.

        Support Squad

If you are willing to help in any volunteer role or want to experience volunteering in different areas each day, join the Support Squad! These ambassadors are placed among committees that need the most assistance to ensure a successful tournament. Ambassadors report to the headquarters prior to their shift to get an on-course volunteer assignment. Just come prepared to help out wherever is needed with an eager attitude.
