Ten More World Class Players Join Field for World Wide Technology Championship
In its third year in Los Cabos, the event also welcomes past champions Patton Kizzire, Matt Kuchar and Erik van Rooyen, joining 2024 champion Austin Eckroat
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Los Cabos, Mexico (October 23, 2025) – Tournament officials announced today more player commitments that include six PGA TOUR players who have a combined 16 victories on the PGA TOUR and a threesome of talented young players new to professional golf for the 2025 edition of the World Wide Technology Championship, which is slated for November 6-9 in Los Cabos, Mexico.
“The field is shaping up nicely to include a mix of veteran players, young players and wonderful past champions who will compete on a world stage here.” said Joe Mazzeo, Tournament Director. “The competition certainly will not disappoint, and we look forward to welcoming the competitors and the fans to Los Cabos and Diamante.”
New commitments include PGA TOUR winners and veterans Garrick Higgo (2 wins), Peter Malnati (2 wins), Brandt Snedeker (9 wins), Nick Dunlap (2 wins), Keith Mitchell (1 win), Joel Dahmen (1 win), Max Greyserman as well as former No.1 ranked amateurs in the world and graduated PGA TOUR University rookies Luke Clanton and Gordon Sargent.
Earlier, tournament officials announced commitments from J.J. Spaun (World No. 6), Ben Griffin (World No. 13), victorious European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald and six-time TOUR winner Tony Finau.
Among the Latin American commitments: Nico Echavarria and Camilo Villegas of Colombia, Emiliano Grillo of Argentina, Rafa Campos of Puerto Rico as well as Nick Taylor, Mackenzie Hughes and Adam Hadwin of Canada.
The PGA TOUR, which showcases the world’s best golfers competing on iconic courses, will gather a field of 120 players in a 72-hole, stroke-play event awarding 500 FedExCup points.
Diamante once again serves as the home and host venue for the WWT Championship, Mexico’s longest-running and most successful PGA TOUR tournament. The host course El Cardonal, opened in 2014, is the first golf course designed by 82-time PGA TOUR winner Tiger Woods and TGR Design.
All four rounds will be televised globally through the PGA TOUR’s extensive worldwide television distribution network, including Golf Channel in the United States and Golf Channel Latin America in Mexico and throughout Latin America. Internationally, PGA TOUR coverage is available across more than 200 countries and territories in 26 languages via 44 broadcast and digital partners.
Tickets for the 2025 World Wide Technology Championship are available for purchase now at tickets.wwtchampionship.com. A variety of ticket options are available for spectators to experience the event live and in person, enjoy world-class golf, and soak in the amazing scenery of Los Cabos and incredible Pacific Ocean views. Children ages 15 and under receive free admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult. VIP Hospitality ticket options are also available, with food and drink included and access to exclusive suites.
