Q. Just a few comments on how much it means to have a sponsorship into this week's tournament.
WILLIE MACK III: Yeah, for sure. Just to get this opportunity from World Wide, it's an honor. I'm glad to be here. This is my first time in Mexico. It's a great course. A little narrow, but it's a good test.
Q. Okay. As part of their partnership with the APGA, they help support player development programs. If you can just talk about the impact that you think this will have, including equipment, coaching, golf memberships, technology, travel.
WILLIE MACK III: Yeah, it was five players from the APGA Tour that came down and did the Monday, I think. Ryan missed by one, but just giving that opportunity to not only me but them, too, to come down here and be able to try get into the tournament, which they probably wouldn't have without World Wide Technology doing that.
Q. It's great to see companies like them get even more involved. What do you think this means for the game of golf and beyond?
WILLIE MACK III: Yeah, just to be able to help people coming up into the game, give those opportunities to get out here on the PGA TOUR. A lot of those players on the APGA Tour never play in the Korn Ferry events, so just giving that opportunity to get into this week was pretty big.
Q. What role has the APGA played in your career?
WILLIE MACK III: It's been big. I think I played on that Tour eight years. The last two years have been amazing, they've really been putting a lot of money in there. The PGA TOUR has been helping out, World Wide, and I think the next couple years will be great.
Q. What do you think the game of golf needs to do in order to provide players of all backgrounds an equal shot at making the Tour?
WILLIE MACK III: Yes, I think it's going into the right direction. I've been playing professional golf for a while, so just being able to get these opportunities. I played in my first I think four, this is my fifth PGA TOUR event this year, so just being able to get those opportunities is huge not only for me but I think the people coming up behind me.
