Q. Davis, great playing. Just one bogey and 10 under through two rounds. What's working well for you through 36 holes?
DAVIS THOMPSON: Yeah, I feel I hit a lot of fairways, a lot of greens and gave myself plenty of opportunities. Just trying to stay patient out there. Scores are pretty low, but just keep giving yourself looks and hopefully they fall.
Q. Made three birdies in the last five holes. Can you walk us through some of those shots?
DAVIS THOMPSON: Yeah. Let's see, 14, par 5, I hit it just short of the green in two, was able to get up and down. Then I hit a really good shot into 16, it just hit that back slope and came back down to about four feet and was able to make that. Didn't hit a great chip on 18, but was able to make a nice putt and end the round on a good note.
Q. Coming into the week 75 in the FedExCup, what are you looking to get out of these next three starts, especially knowing that 51 to 60 is an important number?
DAVIS THOMPSON: Yeah, it's definitely important. Yeah, I'm just trying to play the best I can. I don't really think about that too much. I'm just trying to get better mentally and get better each and every day. You know, if it works out, great, but if not, I'll still have starts, I'll start the year, so it's a win-win situation for me.
