Q. Rico, great round today. Obviously several birdies on your card. Can you talk a little bit about it, especially on 18?
RICO HOEY: Yeah, I shot 1 under on the front. I felt like I was hitting good shots. It's just blowing so hard that any shot on the green is a great shot. Yeah, I caught fire on the back nine starting on 10, hit it to 12 feet and made that. Did the interview and then chipped in on 11, so that was pretty cool. Yeah, just kind of kept rolling from there.
Q. What was working on the back nine?
RICO HOEY: Nothing really. Honestly, just playing the wind. I knew if I hit it, I kind of expected if the wind takes, it great. If not, it is what it is, I hit a good shot.
Q. Does this course suit your game?
RICO HOEY: I don't know, it's hard to say. Because it's so windy it's hard to say, but I think so. I like the layout, it's fun, there's a lot of good holes that you have to drive it well. Yeah, I like it.
Q. How did the wind affect your game? How did you adjust it?
RICO HOEY: I just tried hitting it lower and luckily I hit the right shots.
Q. Going to tomorrow, do you change anything? It's supposed to be a little less windy, but any difference in your game?
RICO HOEY: Nothing really, just keep sticking to the game plan, listen to my caddie, Brian. Yeah, we'll go from there.
Q. Will you practice at all tonight?
RICO HOEY: A little bit, yeah. I've got nowhere else to be. It's pretty nice out here.
