Q. Justin, very pretty scorecard today. Can you talk a little bit about it?
JUSTIN LOWER: Yeah. It was -- I don't know, it's definitely possible on this golf course if you're feeling good about it. Yeah, I had a couple, a couple wayward shots kind of toward the end of the front nine but was able to get it back somehow. I putted really well. Something I've been working hard on, one of the strengths of my game, so was just trying to get that in line. They went in today. Hopefully they continue tomorrow.
Q. Can you talk a little bit about eagle on 18?
JUSTIN LOWER: Yeah. The big thing about 18 is I think just getting it in play off the tee. If
you can avoid both the bunkers, you'll have a chance.
Then had a perfect yardage and a similar situation to a practice round I played earlier this week. Had 247 adjusted pin, 231 front edge, I think. Just a high cut 5-wood, hold it against the wind. I don't know where it landed, but it ended up maybe 10, 11 feet from it. I luckily got a read on the putt from Streelman, so worked out.
Q. Your 63 ties your career low. Can you talk about your game right now and the state of it and how you're feeling?
JUSTIN LOWER: Yeah. Definitely feel better about it than I have this fall. I've had a consistent year. I'd say I would like the finishes to be a little bit better. I think this is my 21st cut made just this year, so that's something I'm proud of because it's something I've wanted to improve on, just being more consistent. It's nice that it's actually showing in the end.
But yeah, I just am trying to improve as much as I can out here. Everyone's really good and we're all trying to beat our brains out, just trying to see how good I can be.
Q. What would a win mean to you?
JUSTIN LOWER: Everything. I don't know. Yeah, I mean, there's 18 holes tomorrow on a very scorable golf course. I think the wind's going to stay down again, so I have to go out and basically shoot probably somewhere between 5 and 9 under again. I mean, it's just the way the scores are out here. If the wind's down, scores are going to be low.
Yeah, a win would mean everything. I still have a job to do.
Q. Why did you get so emotional with that question?
JUSTIN LOWER: I have no idea, honestly. I told myself I'm going to stop doing this in interviews.
But just I work really hard in this game, I work really hard at it. Sometimes I think I never would have gotten this far, and I've been through a lot in my life and it's just, I don't know, it's just a lot of fun. It's nothing sad that I'm crying. I don't know, it's just joyful. I love being out here.
I hate all the changes they're making, that's a whole 'nother subject I could rant about for like an hour. Seems like anytime I do something good they make a change.
Yeah, it just means a lot to me. I just want to see -- I just want to see how good I can do and prove to myself that I can actually do something in this game.
Q. You're really fun to watch out there, so good luck tomorrow and hope to see you here tomorrow.
