Q. Will, thanks so much for your time today. Let's start here with this great up-and-down. I was with you all day, but that nice little finish there, you made it look a lot easier than it was above the hole at 18, downhill, down breeze. Was it as tough as we thought it was?
WILL GORDON: Yeah, I just had to get good contact and the ground would kind of do it for me. Once I got good contact, I knew it was going to be pretty good. Left it in the correct spot even though wasn't too pleased with the 5-iron, left it in the correct spot, and Summer gave me a good club to leave in the correct spot.
Q. I thought your best up-and-down was on 15. So many choices and options there. You went to the putter, you said take the big mistake out of play and it paid off. Great 4.
WILL GORDON: Yeah, in the practice round we were kind of, we were dropping some balls. We established that if it was on the downslope, the putter would get up there and get within 10 feet and that's really all you're looking for, so took care of business there. Yeah, that was a great 4 there.
Q. You and Erik were almost drafting off one another on the front nine, so fun to watch, and then you kind of got in the same groove. Did you have a little chat with yourself? What were you saying to yourself there on the back nine to keep your head in it, because look at the leaderboard, you're right there?
WILL GORDON: Yeah, 100 percent. I mean, it got a little tough on the back, the wind started picking up a little bit. I just didn't make anything on the back. I had a couple long ones go in on the front and I just didn't give myself a ton of good looks on the back. Other than the bad swing on 16, it was a solid nine holes. I just, I'm excited, just I'm thankful to be playing golf that kind of feels like it matters. It's been a long couple months, so the double's a hell of a lot better when it's to go back to 16 under instead of like even par.
